A timeless classic with roots in northern Italy, the Americano was first created in the 1860s at Gaspare Campari’s bar in Milan. Originally called the Milano–Torino (named for its ingredients), it later earned the name Americano thanks to its popularity with American visitors travelling through Italy.

Gentle spice, clean and dry, with a lightly bitter finish, this refreshing cocktail awakens the palate and sets the stage for a beautiful meal.

Pairs well with- Antipasti for two, cheese bars, wagyu carpaccio or carbonora.
